The objective of this research is to develop a Web-based GIS for showing the pattern and benchmark of the Australia National Training Authority (ANTA) variables in Australia's urban centres and localities. ANTA variables include population frequencies, demographic variables, schooling completed, post-school participation, qualification level, labour force participation, industry, occupation, individual income, specialisation/diversification index and scored index of human capital.

The classification application consists of a functionality that classifies data using Equal Interval and Quantile approaches. The equal interval classifies the features into equally divided ranges of attributes values. In the quantile classification, each class contains approximately the same number of features.

The compare application consists of a functionality that compare three urban centres or localities of user's interest on ANTA variables.

Please read the information on how to use the Web-based GIS classification and compare applications.
